Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway
Attractions
OR

OR-138, which follows the beautiful North Umpqua River, has been officially designated as the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway. It is also a favored route to Crater Lake National Park. There are several spectacular waterfalls which are easily viewable along this route. True, you usually have to get out of your car, but the stroll to good viewing points is never challenging.

How to get there:

Exit I-5 in Roseburg onto OR-138 and head east, across the river to OR-99. Here, OR-138 follows 99 north for a couple blocks and then goes east (right) again. Or-138 now continues, past Glide, Steamboat and Diamond Lake, to Crater Lake National Park.
