Georgia O'Keeffe Museum
The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe, New Mexico, features the paintings of Georgia O'Keeffe, placing her artistic achievement in the history of American Modernism, from her years in New York with Alfred Stieglitz to Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu. Exhibits offer a wide variety and change on a regular basis. Museum Gift Shop features posters, calendars, books and jewelry.

Institute of American Indian Arts Museum
Has a large collection of Indian Art. The museum was created in 1971, and now has an inventory of some 6,500 paintings, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry, graphics, costumes, beadwork, textiles, photographs and other examples of Native American art. Open year round except Christmas, New Year's, Easter Sunday and Thanksgiving.

Museum of Indian Arts and Culture
One of the four museums which make up the Museum of New Mexico. Specializing in Native American arts and culture, here you can hear stories from the people of the region and view their art. Housed in the institution are some ten million artifacts including pottery, ceramics, sculptures, jewelry and paper art.

Museum of International Folk Art
This museum features displays of over 120,000 objects all centered on the subject of international folk art. Included in the inventory is the Girard Foundation Collection which showcases some 106,000 miniature buildings, streets and marketplaces from over 100 different countries.

Museum of New Mexico
Older than the state of New Mexico itself, the Museum of New Mexico houses over eight thousand pieces of artwork including the country's most intriguing collection of art, history and culture. Note that there are four museums located in this one location.

Palace of the Governors
Built in the seventeenth century as the official residence of the Governor of New Mexico, the Palace now contains a library, archives and offers exhibits including sixteenth century weapons and furniture.

Santa Fe Children's Museum

St Francis Cathedral
The cathedral, built by Jean Baptiste Lamy, the first archbishop of Santa
Fe, is on Cathedral Place, around the corner from the Santa Fe Plaza.
Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian
On display are Native American basketry, paintings, pictorial weaving and
other Native American creations. A not-for-profit organization, admission is free
( donations gratefully received).
