These beaches on Sand Key, just across the Inland Waterway from Clearwater.

Redington Shores - with a population of about 2,500, offers wide beaches with public access. Fine restaurants offering casual dining are within easy walking distance of the many condos, hotels, motels and apartment houses. to many area properties. The town has several recreational and nature parks with facilities for picnics, tennis and kids' playgrounds. There are also several good fishing piers (open 24 hours a day) in the area. North Redington - with a population of about 1,200, has nearly a mile of frontage on the Gulf of Mexico. Several public accesses to the beach (would you believe  curbside parking and no parking meters!) plus several condos and smaller motels make for a distinctly family vacation destination.
Redington Beach - with its 1,609 residents, maintains two good beachside parks – one on the Gulf and one on Boca Ciega Bay.
