Madeira Beach - with a population of 4,200, is on the south end of Sand Key joined to the mainland by a free causeway. Quieter than St. Pete Beach to the south, this is more of a family setting.

Fishing excursions are available at several locations and you can also fish from the bridges, seawalls, and piers. For license requirements, contact the City of Madeira Beach (see above).

The Municipal Marina at 503 150th Avenue, has approximately 93 slips. Owned and operated by the City of Madeira Beach, the marina has a wide range of facilities and supplies. For more details, phone (727) 399-2631.

Madeira Beach is the location of the world-famous John's Pass Village, a cozy, old-timey fishing village. Their annual (late October) John's Pass Seafood Festival attracts over 100,000 visitors.
