The Owens Valley Paiute Shoshone Indian Cultural Center on the Bishop Paiute Reservation houses exhibits on the history of the original occupants of what is not the western United States. Featured are their basketry, clothing, food, tools, and shelter. They also operate a gift shop with a variety of attractive wearing apparel, jewelry and souvenirs. Open 9a - 5p Monday - Friday and 10a - 4p Saturdays & Sundays. (They are closed New Years Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.)
